Residents of Lincoln Parish, mark your calendars for April 27th as an important day for our local schools. Lincoln Parish Schools will be presenting two bond propositions on the ballot, each addressing critical needs within our educational system.
Firstly, the Choudrant School District #6 proposition seeks approval for the issuance of bonds up to $2,000,000 over a maximum period of 20 years. With interest rates not exceeding 7% per annum, these funds are designated for crucial capital expenditures related to school infrastructure. The proposed projects include the construction, acquisition, and improvement of schools and associated facilities, aiming to bolster the educational experience for students in the district.

CHS multi-purpose building- $500,000
Secondly, the Ruston School District #1 proposition proposes a bond issuance totaling $17.5 million. This significant investment aims to tackle pressing issues within our schools, with a primary focus on enhancing safety measures, upgrading facilities, and ensuring equitable access to sports programs for all students.
