Our Child Nutrition teams were busy in August making sure our students started their school days with a good breakfast and had a great lunch waiting on them.

These educators were selected to represent their schools because of the difference they make in the lives of their students each day.
They’ll now move on to the district-level competition, where our district winners will be selected to represent Lincoln Parish Schools at the regional and state levels.

As part of their ELA Guidebook unit on My Librarian Is a Camel, Ms. Gauthier transformed her classroom into an airport, with different centers featuring countries from the book.
At each stop, students learn about places where children may not have access to a local library and the unique ways books are delivered to them - including by camel, elephant, boat and more!

Congratulations to Mr. Justin Barron, who has been named the district’s incoming Assistant Superintendent effective July 1.

This school year, Lincoln Parish Schools' cafeteria staff served 488,508 lunches and 288,983 breakfasts. That's a whole lot of hungry students fed!

HUGE congratulations to our very own Charity Boney for an amazing achievement at the 2026 Braille Challenge Finals in Los Angeles!
Charity earned 1st Place in the Apprentice Division (1st-2nd grades), competing against some of the top young braille readers from around the world. This year’s competition was the largest in Braille Challenge history, with participants representing six countries.
Even more special, based on Braille Institute’s published winners lists, Charity appears to be the first documented student from Louisiana to bring home a Braille Challenge Finals medal!
We are so proud of Charity and this historic accomplishment.
